I bought two four packs last summer and wanted to buy more to add some more to the cupboard for the house last month and get everything matching. I love the original set I received last year. They have a nice medium thickness and hit that sweet spot between soft and rough so that they clean skin well enough and yet do not feel like sandpaper. The old version also has a band on it, so it’s easy to tell the old from the new. The new version is very soft and much thicker. It’s hard to get a good lather with bar soap or body wash, because they are so thick the soap will not pass through to the other side or even spread on the application side due to absorbency. Given how soft they are they also do not offer any help in basic exfoliation. I’d say they are now good enough if you just have oily skin to wash, but if you appreciate a good wash cloth taking away dry skin they aren’t for you anymore. Good quality of product In terms of construction either way though. I love the brand overall - I’ve switched all our hand towels to match with them - so it’s just a bit of a shame the style changed on the wash cloths.The towels were vacuum packed and the package said it may appear smaller than expected but it’s because of the packing. After washing they would fluff up. After I washed them, they were very soft but thinner than I expected.I was looking for towels for my Airbnb when I came across these. Since they were for my Airbnb, I wanted towels that were good quality but at a cost I wouldn’t mind if they got ruined. These were exactly that! Quality feels great and I ended up getting a set for myself at home!This was exactly what I was looking for. Not too thick and not too thin. Feels soft but not so soft it won’t absorb water…you won’t regret getting this towel… I am super happy with this purchase!While these aren’t top of the line, i think they are good for the price.I loved the value . I purchased these for my father in law who is very picky about his towels and wash clothes and he was very happy with them .Ordered my second batch of these towels because they're great white towels. They are not thick, but still absorb well and are soft. Bought one pack for our guest bathroom and just ordered another batch for our bathroom. Would recommend if you're looking for a budget friendly option for a solid towel (Disclaimer: These aren't the super plush turkish style cotton towels you get from Pottery Barn, so if that is what you are expecting, you will be disappointed). I couldent wait tu use them! i went ahead and paid more for this set, confident in the brand, cuz the reviews were so positive. I just got them after a long while of waiting, and i washed them, as the recommendation mentioned, and this is what i ended up with. Awful! I never even used them, no bleach added either. :((((((I don't usually leave reviews but I felt I needed to for this. These towels shed like crazy. I followed manufacturers guidelines and washed twice before using and I have washed numerous times after that as well. I even used vinegar as one other reviewer advised but still the same. They are not shedding big fibres like before but tiny little fibres that you don't even notice. I realized this when applying my skincare. Little fibres on my face!! I pat dry and barely even touch my face with the towel and still all these little fibres. They are also not as soft and fluffy as I expected. They do not get sifter from washing as stated.
