They feel good to the touch, are absorbent, and wash, dry and wear well. They look new after several washings.Not sure why dish towels require line drying. Is this because they may shrink?Very nice kitchen towels - heavy - good quality and at a great priceI was tired of paying $6-10 for dishtowels that only last a few months. I also wanted a darker color that wouldn't show stains (everything seems to stain dishtowels - oil, avocado, tomato juice, you name it). You do get what you pay for with these. They aren't at all absorbent, so they're better for wiping hands than drying dishes. The stitching is shoddy and the hems on mine came unravelled the first time the were laundered. Having said that, you can't beat the price, and I intend to use them as long as possible them retire/recycle them as cleaning rags.works great as kitchen towelsThese towels are great! I was very disappointed to open the package and see that they were green and white and not teal and white as they appeared in the picture and stated in the description. They were not a green teal either - they were green as green can be. I did return them and amazon was very good in reimbursing me the postage as it was an international return. They looked to be good quality and were the perfect size, they just were not the colour I was expecting, therefore the 3 rating.These are good thick cotton kitchen towels. They wash very well, and will no doubt last many years. I chose the type that are flat not fluffy and absorbent, but that was my preference. They had other choices that would probably be more absorbent. I like the flat cotton, as it cleans better, in my opinion. The colour is lovely and they go well with stainless steel appliances. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I will be ordering more.The absorbency isn’t the best and they aren’t excellent quality… but we love the navy colour, which was difficult to find (and is holding up after a couple of washes, though we use cold water). The price per towel is also better than most and the size is good. I wouldn’t use these exclusively, but they’re a good base alongside a couple of nicer, more absorbent towels.L'odeur était forte et désagréable à l'ouverture. It's a chemical smell and smells like they were sitting in a chemical warehouse for years.
