At first I was taken by surprise when these towels arrived. I read the reviews and knew to expect thin towels, but the package was so incredibly small. These towels were purchased for my daughter who has a tiny stackable washer and dryer so does not have the space to wash huge loads of heavy towels. The (pink) color didn't change after washing but they only got softer. If you like those thick spa-like, luxurious hotel towels that will impress guests, these may not be for you. But if you want soft, absorbent, lightweight, quick drying towels that wash up and dry quickly, give them a try! They are worth the money for sure.People who complain about the thickness are missing the benefits of this towel. Due to the “thickness”, it is less of a heavy load in the washer, and it dries very quickly on a low heat in the dryer. (Money saver!!) It’s antibacterial. In over a year of bamboo towel use, I’ve never experienced that mildew/musty smell you get from cotton towels.(Nose/health saver!!) They are pampering soft, above and beyond Turkish and traditional towels. You probably know bamboo is a renewable resource. It grows very quickly and easily. (earth saver!!)But did you know that it’s strong and it makes a strong weaved fabric? Finally, bamboo towels are a faster and better absorber than cotton.At first, my husband complained about the thinness of the towel. He’s a big man and he likes the “best” (Lobster, Hotel suites, Italian marble...you get the idea). About 2 weeks later we were staying at a hotel. My husband exited the shower and began to complain, “This room must be very humid. I can barely dry myself.” I laughed. It wasn’t the room. It was the absorbency of the cotton towel. Not convinced? Here’s another example. Everyone knows the urgent response needed in a home when a liquid spills on flooring. Well, one day our dishwasher seal broke and a huge amount of water spilled out onto the floor and around the wooden cabinets. My husband and I both ran for the towels. He grabbed the old cotton towels. I grabbed the bamboo towels. I opened and dropped the bamboo towel onto one area of the large puddle. The towel was immediately soaked and the water gone. I didn’t even have to bend down. I looked over at my husband tackling the other end of the spill, and he was just pushing water around trying to get the cotton towel to absorb more. Remember this the next time your kid spills a glass of milk or your dog walks in with wet, muddy feet. (Home saver!!)So cotton is no longer “King” in my house. And people who complain of thin bamboo towels...well, they’re completely missing the point(s).[This review is honest and without compensation. Although, I wouldn’t mind a little discount on my next set of bamboo towels. I need some pink towels for my granddaughters’ visits. ?)Love the color, softness, weight, effectiveness. Not very sexy. Mainly, bare threads hang slightly here and there but noticeable. It's nice that they are thin but I am hoping they last. Towels also seem to take a little more power to dry. But I am absolutely crazy for bamboo bedding and bath. Keep improving the bamboo products!Finally! I've been looking for these towels my whole life!Super absorbent, they dry everything instantly.Their very lightweight, & the colors are gorgeous!I absolutely love these towels, ill never use anything else.Their ridulously low priced for what they are.Happy!!!I have ordered probably 6 sets of these because I love them so much! They are light weight, super soft and pretty light pink. They do fade after awhile but that’s to be expected.These are the first bamboo towels that I have ever purchased. They are very thin, but they are absorbent. I'm not sure how they will hold up after several washes. I prefer the look of a thicker towel so I would not buy these again. I'll most likely update this review after several washings. I'll keep them, but I was disappointed in the look of them at first. Updated after use, these are thin different than any other towel I've owned. The are incredibly soft and absorbent. I've washed them once and dried on low heat setting. There was no lint shedding at all. The hand towel is narrow. The bath towel is a good size. I changed to 4 stars.Soft towel. Great quality and price.OMG... these are WONDERFUL.I bought a set of the blue ones because I'd decided to get bamboo instead of cotton and now I want more. I checked and the blue are gone but I'm going to try and get more sets. These are so soft and so absorbent. They do, unfortunately, shrink a little (yes, I didn't pay attention to the instructions) but they are generous enough in size that it doesn't matter, except for the washcloth. You might want to pay attention to the instructions for that.Definitely buying more of these and seeking out more bamboo!
